Facts about Credit Card Travel Insurance

While it's true that some credit cards come with travel insurance coverage, it's important to know that in some cases this coverage:

  • Is limited to the owner of the card
  • Only applies to purchases made with that card
  • Might be denied for pre-existing conditions regardless of your stability

Purchasing travel insurance through MyInsurance Store allows you to sidestep these issues. Pre-existing conditions are accepted so long as you meet the stability eligibility requirements.
Don't rely on credit card travel to get you home safely.
